One night in May 2005 my heart gave up this world and I accepted THE gift from God, that is, salvation through the shed blood of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I was a very stressed out individual who was really caught up in this world and the cares thereof. I was a work-a-holic who was trying to get those big bucks to buy that big house, that big car and get ahead in this world (the "American dream"). I was a heavy drinker and a chain smoker. I was very lonely, in great emotional anguish and very depressed. Most of all, I was a man who was lost in his sins. A man who in the sight of a Holy God, deserved to be cast into the deepest pits of hell.
I now must praise God and say on that night, the Lord had mercy on my pitiful soul. The Holy Ghost moved and broke my heart. In one life changing moment, I passed from death unto life everlasting. A passage of scripture went through my head as I wept and cried out, "Lord Jesus, I am sorry for this life I have led, please let me touch just the hem of your robe that I might be healed too. God, I can't do this anymore. I NEED YOU!” In the very second that I uttered those words my heart repented towards my creator and I was justified by faith.
That night Jesus gave me a new heart with new desires. I turned around and fled from my sins and my transgressions against the God who gave me life.  I realized what an unbelievable gift I had received from God. He came in the flesh just to suffer and die because of my sin. I now had a very personal Lord and Savior. It occurred to me that what Jesus did in sacrificing Himself was more than anyone can ever comprehend and it was with joy that I then decided I could at least try to live my life for Him.
What an amazing road it has been since then. There have been some trials and temptations, I have stumbled on occasion but my God is always now with me. The old life seems like a distant memory. God has opened and is opening a lot of doors in my life. No matter what happens or comes next, I know that I have already gained it all and far more than I ever deserve through the precious blood of my dear Savior the Christ, Son of God almighty, my Lord and my King, JESUS.

I was born July 19, 1976 in St. Paul Minnesota. Most of my relatives live in Iowa and the surrounding vicinity. My Parents live in SC. I grew up outside of Cleveland, Ohio in Parma. I played baseball, was on the chess team and was a serious road cyclist. In Dec. of 1994 I was off to Texas to begin basic training in the United States Air Force. I was stationed at Holloman AFB in Alamogordo, NM. I served for almost one year out of country spending one tour in Haiti and two tours in Saudi Arabia. I was released as a SRA(E-4) w/honorable discharge in Dec. of 1998. I spent a short amount of time in SC before migrating to NC. I was a truck driver for six years before a physical condition took me out of that line of work. I now work in the computer room at GSF doing paperwork and data entry.

I live here in High Point with my wonderful wife Tammy. We were wed Feb 23, 2002 in Myrtle Beach, SC. She is my greatest support and takes sacrificially good care of me as we journey through life together. My future goals and aspirations are to be the husband to my wife and the servant of the Lord that Christ would have me to be. I am currently a student at Moody Bible Institute seeking to grow closer to the Lord and become better equipped to serve Him in the ministry He is calling me to.
